Come join us for a full day of Fun and Enjoyment at the twelfth  ANNUAL MARINA AIR FAIRE. Classic Car Show ,Wine Tasting , Fine Art Show , Great Food and Free Admission.  This years event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15th, 2011, 10 AM to 4 PM at the Marina Municipal Airport (formerly Fritzche Army Airfield Fort Ord) in Marina, CA. Sponsored by the Marina Rotary Foundation in conjunction with the City of Marina. This Fly-in is set in a casual atmosphere and all pilots and enthusiasts are welcome to attend. FREE ADMISSION.

Some of the many highlights of this years event will be STATIC AIRCRAFT DISPLAYof many different types of planes including Vintage, Experimental, Contemporary Aircraft and Warbirds. Visitors will be able to get an up close and personal look at these aircraft and be able to talk with the owners and pilots.

You can also attend or compete in the Community Chili Challenge ,

There will be an CLASSIC CAR SHOW sponsored by the Gold Coast Rods.

The Warbirds attending the Marina Air Faire will be available for viewing and some will be available for rides. Stop by the Plane Rides booth at the Marina Air Faire for more information.

There will be AIRPLANE RIDES available to people who want to get a look at the beautiful Monterey Bay Coastline from a birds eye view. Rides will be available in a variety of aircraft including a wonderfully restored 1940's Beechcraft Twin with a viewing area in the floor of the plane, a fully restored 1940's Stearman open cockpit Bi-plane and a two seat Helicopter. Prices vary depending on which type of aircraft you choose.

Some other attractions include AVIATION BOOTHS, EDUCATIONAL BOOTHS, MODEL AIRPLANE EXHIBITION and More.

Proceeds from the Marina October Air Faire will be donated to a variety of local charities.
